Warm up and relax stiff muscles and joints in the large spa

The warmth of the water has the same impact as a hot pack on a sore muscle. Rather than radiant heat, the warm water engulfs the entire body and loosens any muscle tightness. Performing mild exercise or stretching in a hot tub improves flexibility as limbs and muscles can move freely, without the pressure of body weight.
Water also makes the body buoyant, allowing free movement of joints without weight or pressure. By removing stress from the joints, the body can move freely, without the pain related to arthritis.

Enjoy the benefits of the steam room

Sitting in a steam room might significantly improve your cardiovascular health. Moist heat improves circulation, especially in extremities. Improved circulation can lead to lowered blood pressure and a healthier heart.
Warming up before a workout is critical in avoiding injury. Using a steam room as part of your warm-up could help you reach maximum mobility during activities such as running, Pilates, and yoga.

Aid recovery by relaxing in the dry sauna

The high heat of a dry sauna sends the heart rate higher when you enter the room. This speeds the blood’s circulation through the body. This can help those with poorer circulation by getting the blood out to their arms, hands, legs and feet.
Stiffness may leave some of the joints through use of a dry sauna. Because the body’s flexibility increases in a sauna, as do blood vessels, dry sauna users may feel invigorated. This also means it can relieve sore muscles.

Relax on the HydroMassage Bed

The HydroMassage Bed is useful both before and after activity. You can hop on it before your session to warm up your muscles and you can also spend some time on it after your workout to help loosen your muscles and reduce stress. Since the machine can be adjusted to target specific areas, you can use the HydroMassage Bed to work out knots and ease built up muscle tension.

Take advantage of our onsite child care services in the playroom

  • Reservations are not necessary.
  • Please note that there is a 3 hour maximum per visit.
  • All playroom attendants are CPR certified.
  • When your child arrives in the playroom, you will be asked to complete an information form if we do not have one on file.
  • All children are checked in and out ONLY by authorized adults.
  • New playroom families will receive a “Welcome to the Playroom” brochure which covers our illness policy and other guidelines.
